Truck I'm getting has stock setup into a 4" into 5" y stack and big stack tips. Thinking I do a Downpipe that's bigger into a 5" piece into 5" stack Y's. Worth it for deeper sound? How is the Downpipe install level 1-10. Not a HP demon just want low temps and nice sound. And Downpipe is never a bad idea.

Actually too big of a dp is suppose to rob low end torq.
But joe made a four or five inch dp that he had fun stuffing in.
He has pics of it somewhere, def looks huge.

So that being is it a big mod to go for. I mean on my 6.4 and previous diesels it was a big must have but if not a big deal I'll leave it. I figured egt drop and deep sound has to help. Then match it with a 5" pipe into the stacks for best flow and sound. If not I'll leave it fine by me

as far as i know the stock dp is 3 inch. ive read somewhere that if you install a 4 inch dp on an h2e, it spools at a later rpm. i have no experience with this so i cant say yes or no but just sharing information ive read.
