i see that donahue racing lifts are by far most liked by ford owners
i am having a hard time opening their site
so i am just goin off my dieselpower mag.
what makes DR kits so superior?

just wondering the benefits over other after i saw a 6in DR is twice the price of a 6in Superlift all springs

thanks

Quality stuff. It is the only I have had, so I cannot compare. The springs feel good and are well made. Progressive multileaf packs make for a firm yet smooth ride. I am now using the Edelbrock Extreme Remotes now that my Bilsteins wore out. I dig the edelbrock shocks, but the DR ones are good too.

There is a guy on Socaps selling a used 6in. (no relation)

If you have a chance ride in a few lifted fords and then find one with a DR. You'll know why they cost more the ride is awsome for a leaf spring truck. I have a 06 F250 4x4 work truck with stock suspension (Coil spring) and my 6" leaf spring DR rides better IMO.

The DR kits come with Edelbrock shock made to DR specs and then powdercoated clear. The old Bilsteins were not coated but i hear they are coming out with a powdercoated version of them due to the complaints about finish quality.

DR has a lifetime warranty. All their parts are very heavy duty and their shocks are the best value on the market, IMO.

All of DR's parts are 100% made in the USA.

Superlift's leaf springs are made in India and the rest of their parts aren't has heavy as DR's.

FYI, DR did have a price drop recently on their leaf springs (dropped ~$200.00 per pair).

I did not know Edelbrock made the DR shocks. Edelbrock is great, made in the usa. The ride of the extreme xt's is awesome.

Good guys to deal with also.

I've used Rancho, Superlift, and Donahoe lifts. The Donahoe has the best ride, but what really stands out is the heavy duty construction. It was definitely built to last, and if it doesn't, it has a lifetime warranty. You cant go wrong. IMO, it was worth teh extra $$$.
