Ok so I have a 2001 7.3 auto and it has been overheated in the past (oil blew out from turbo from no guages & stubborn drivers).

Seal has been replaced but ever since, the truck wont even start without being plugged in all night or being warm from driving previously.

I am ordering a set of Swamp injectors (Tow/Mild Street)
and a TS chip/tuner designed for the custom injectors.

Will this fix the problem or is it a common problem that I dont know about?
I've owned many 7.3s, but never had this problem.

Help!!!!:(

have you tested all the glow plugs and the relay? have you checked your oil temp sensor? try unplugging your oil temp sensor when its cold and see if it starts or not

When it starts open the oil fill and see if oil vapour is coming out, I had the same problem when it was cold and after a while it would start to fire on all cylinders, turns out I had a dead cylinder.

How old are your batteries? Mine would miss on one cylinder and I put fresh batteries in and it was gone.
