Hello,

Looked through some older threads and did not find any information.

I have to replace the rear differential cover and choose one of the new increased capacity covers (from 3 qts to 6 qts.)

My question is; normally with 3 qts of oil you add 4 oz of the modifier. Do I need to add 8 oz with the doubling of oil capacity?

thank you all!

Yes, keep your oil-to-friction modifier ratio the same, it you double capacity, double your modifier.
