at work we have a 04 f550 with a 05 5.9 cummins mated to the ford zf6 via a destroked adapter plate. on the adapter plate there is a area machined for a oring to seal around the back of the block where the cam is. for some reason the oring keeps blowing out and the thinnest part of the machined area for the oring has pushed out twice. anybody had this problem or know what might be causing it ? thanks in advance.
