Stupid question for ya. How does one know when your truck is defueling?
There are some days my truck runs like a raped ape but then there are the days she just does'nt seem too. I dont have any codes, no light?? just thought it might be defueling

Thanks guys

If you get over 20-22# it will de-fuel, but on the next key on cycle it should be gone... And after a few minutes I believe it reverts back as well. A Overbost will not always set a SES light...

You know, I didn't put one on yet because I was under the impression that if you didn't throw a code or light I was good. Obviously I was wrong. I'll get one on the way.

Thanks again

Have the codes read. If you are getting a boost code then yep it's defueling.

How much boost are you making? If it flatlines around 20-22 that's a real big indication fuel is being cut.

less fuel = less boost.
Didn't really pay attention to the boost gauge when it feels a bit slugish. I'll get a look at that. I normally get 25lbs at WOT that's about all she's got.

Thanks for the heads up Greg
