i have a 94 7.3 F250 2wd 5 speed and it started the death wobble at around 40 mph. i have replaced brake pads, rotors, wheel bearings, ball joints, all the draglinks, trailing arm bushings, radius arm bushings, shocks, springs, new tires and new wheels, and its been aligned twice at two different local shops. the spindle and knuckle are fine and have never been wrecked. i even added an aftermarket steering damper that my pickup is not equipped from the factory with. i do have a bumper/grillguard on it. what else could be causing this wobble?

How long have you had the truck?

iv owned it since 2008 and the previous owner treated it very well as do i. it has 185,000 miles and 80% are highway

Did it just start or has it progressively gotten worse

I am no expert on 2wds but did you check the pivot bushings for the TTB?

Have you checked your drive shaft and steady bearing? i have read some other posts where it turned out to be the problem. Could be chasing the wrong end

i replaced all the bushings. it got bad pretty quickly actually. thinking there might be a special way that this specific year ford with the split front axle has to be aligned maybe? im a diesel mechanic for ford and we dont have an alignment rack so i have no idea and i cant find anything about it

Are the shops you going to GOOD at ford TTB trucks. It takes a specialist. Not every alignment shop can do TTB trucks

take it to a shop that knows what they are doing. Just got mine back a few weeks ago shop said everything was fine with only 1 adjustment that was slightly out but not enough to worry about and not enough to burn the outer edge of my tire off... Not sure how they checked properly when a from shock was seized and was holding the suspension from moving

yeah it was the shop. had to take it to a dealership in cheyenne to get it aligned properly. it was 4 degrees toed in. yeah ill never go back to that other place
