In the pic I have uploaded can anyone tel me what would cause those 2 lives to be touching, on the driver side ther is about a 1/4 inch of space between them. And at times the parts that are touching actually go back to having space. Is that a wheel hub issue? This is my first super duty. It’s a 05 f350 crew cab long bed 4wd and that dang 6.0.

The actual name is slipping my mind. Spindle bearing? I dont know if it's replaceable on the unit bearing trucks.

the 05 up axle support bearing is a sealed bearing and way more reliable than the 04 under needle bearing but
like mentioned they can be replaced separately from the actual unit bearing

Man it ended up being my wheel hub. The whole thing was just destroyed. Had to replace that from part of the axle as well because it was shaving down while I was driving it. It mustve been bad for awhile, but I never heard any of the usual noises I’ve heard when hubs have gone bad. She’s all good now. Now that I’m thinking of it I probably should’ve put the leveling kit on while I had the front end apart
