My truck died and I'm wanting to check the hpop pressure, what does it have to be while cranking the engine and what would be the correct way to do it without a scanner

Well First :welcome: to the nation. Second it would help to know what your working on. My Truck is a very broad term. if you don't have access to a scanner then you will need a pressure gauge that can handle the pressure of the HPO system and adapters to connect it to engine. both the 7.3l and 6.0l need a minimum of 500PSI to fire the injectors but it can go higher while cranking.
