I've tried searching but can't find any example of someone with this same problem. My 2002 F250 7.3 decided not to start yesterday. Dead instrument cluster, no engine lights or gauges.
It cranks fast but doesn't start. Other electrical stuff seems fine, head lights door lights, cab lights, radio, windows, locks and blower all work.
I've checked fuses and relays, but don't know what else to check...

Someone told me to look for broken or frayed wires in the steering column. Could this cause all the cluster to be off?

Finally found it. The 116 fuse kept blowing and found out it also goes to the fuel bowl heater. Unplugged it and all is good.
