Anyone know off hand what the injection pump flows from a Massey 1150 V8.510 engine? I have been told you can crank them up pretty high.. Found one reasonable and wondering if it would be a candidate for a mechanical injected 7.3l I don't want to modify the pump right now, Just looking to take an extra high mileage motor I have here and slowly find the parts to convert it. I'm not talking about building a 2000 horse truck like Double overtime or anything, well not yet.. Just want to make a 500hp or so truck that can be daily driven and built up over time. Gotta walk before you can run! Also anyone know the price tag on a custom front cover from either swamps, or Carson Stauffer Diesel? I have been doing a fair amount of research on this lately and i am pretty sure I can get all the components within a budget, I just don't know the first thing about timing it, so if someone could give me a little insight on what that would consist of so I can get a better understanding of what that entails that would also be helpful :D

Mods if this should be moved to a different location then by all means..

Thanks,
Sheldon

They are 8.4l, Am i right in that you can turn the pump up pretty good on those? We only had a six cylinder massey and got rid of it for another magnum about 11 years ago so i dont remember much about it.
