Hey guys what would it take to get a 05 dana 60 into a 97 250hd....will it bolt right up or what??? I have been searching for a 60 to replace the IFS in my 97 but can not find any in my price range... The 05 is from a Coastie (Coast Guard) buddy of mine and the price is free hahahaha

since the 05 is for a coil spring truck you would have to fab or brakets and mounts for it.

I would talk to OBS WIZ about this since he is the expert on suspension, and last I read he has 08 axles and suspension under is 250.

They used to have a kit for that.
One thing is wheel spacing will be diff, same bolt pattern, but diff offsets.
So your front will be in more then the rear iirc.

Easy install, we just finished a '95. You want both axles, '05 up wheels, frame radius arm and coil buckets, steering linkage etc. If you want it lifted you will not need: radius arms, front springs, track bar or mount.

Where you located?
