I'm new to this forum and not familiar with searching for info. I don't find a search bar within a topic to search. Heres my question. I have the front axles out and new seals on order. I plan on making my own tools if need be on lathe to press in vacuum seal and inner tube seals. Some videos make this process look easy and others make it look like it will never get done correctly unless the specific tool is used. Am I in over my head? My biggest concern is getting the vacuum seal and splines pushed into carrier. Will I need to force the axle in and by that I mean use a hammer to drive in or will the insertion require some patients?

axle will slide rite in once the splines are synced. if you have to force it in something is not rite.

i cannot answer on the vaccum seals, i do not use those silly things.
all my trucks are manual 4X4.
