That code is a instrument code, check the fuses for the VSM. It would also help to know the year of your truck.

Got a new code 0605
Got fuel/ pressure/air
Still dead

0605 PCED Powertrain Control Module ROM error Internal PCM failure Internal PCM failure

This can be caused by pulling the batteries and or your chip.

Check your batteries.

you can also try to pull your chip and see if that helps.

You posted the P0605 code originally in your first post as well.
Does this code remain active and not stored?
I agree with CA7.3 that usually this can be caused by batteries / poor connections and or aftermarket devices such as chips and recommend repairing and or check these things.
If everything checks out (power, wiring etc) and the code remains active this wouldn’t be normal and I would think this could be the cause of your no start.
Have you tried a donor pcm?
I have attached a picture.
However like previously mentioned I would check out wiring (load test power and grounds), ensure proper power source, no aftermarket devices etc before replacing any components.
Open to debate just an idea anyways

I cleared the code and now it is pending. Which makes no sense to me. no check engine light code.
I don't have a after market chip.
I've pull the connector and checked for power at pin 55 which I was told is for memory and their is power at all times. Is that the right pin?
I've also pulled the pcm and visually checked it looks great so hmm.
Thanks for the help everyone

if you has access to another ecm I would try that, also pull fuse 22 and let me know if it is blown.
