I have 191,000 miles on the truck. Just replaced injectors deleted egr and the list goes on. Most importantly got rid of the egr and new oil cooler. Do I still need to put this kit on? I would of thought it was all out but u guys tell me

No, an aftermarket coolant filter isn't needed.

Basically, the choice is yours:

- Continue to use the OEM coolant filter as-is and, once it plugs, get it replaced for around $2400 +/-. This price assumes, of course, that the OEM coolant filter getting plugged doesn't take out the heads or wrist pins etc.

- Install an aftermarket coolant filter for about $120-$140 and then replace the aftermarket coolant filter at about $10 each time (500 miles, 1000 miles, then one year or so thereafter).

Your choice. Choose wisely.

Good luck.

It's in the valley of your 6.0 engine and it's called "the oil cooler".
