I'm planning a hydroboost upgrade for my 84 f-250 and i have already seen this great write up on it, but i have a few more questions id like to get answered,

How do i know what year trucks equipped with hydroboost will work with mine?

What am i looking at to see if it will work or not?

also if anyone has done a hydroboost conversion on a truck similar to mine, id like to see/hear about how they configured the power steering pump.

F-450 SuperDutys started around 1988 until 1997. You would need to check the interchange of the early SuperDutys with the 1992-1996 ones on the hydroboost unit.

The 92-97 hydroboost powersteering pumps have an extra tit for the return line from the hydroboost unit, some just cut in a tee into the power steering return line and use the original powersteering pump. The pressure hose line would be different since it will supply the PS unit and the hydroboost unit. You may have to have a hydraulic hose shop make one up for you.
