Hey folks how's it going Im looking for some advice started having problems with my 06 F350 6.0 wont shift out of 3rd gear and tow/haul light comes on. Pulled code P0756 bad solenoid but in researching getting this solenoid replaced I seen some people say I need to upgrade all solenoids from factory others say don't and also some people are saying to upgrade the valve body some say rebuild transmission. I have 206k miles on my truck if that helps but now I'm confused on what I should do. Any advice would be appreciated

I don't understand how changing the fluid is too harsh on the truck. Keeping more of the old, bad fluid is harsh on the truck. Changing to new fluid isn't harsh, it may save the trans.
I agree but old story's and myths hold hard and even though I have a spare trans, I still don't like chancing it
No, that won't matter. The 4x4 harness will have a connector for the transfer case. Just ignore it.
