Not sure if this is the spot. But i'm wondering if anyone knows how to rhino coat, or bedliner coat some chrome steps. I sprayed etching primer on my steps, then used a spray called "bed armor" and the crap just rubs off when you step on it. Frustrated with this. Anyone know how to get it to stick??:evil

upon more research, turns out the duplicolor spray needs thoroughly sanded surfaces to stick at all...

the only way i have had any luck keeping paint or anything on chrome is to sand blast it or sand it really well with 80 grit sand paper. then take wheel acid and clean the chrome. apply a coat of a good self etching primer when that dries apply a good fill primer(to fill in the scratches). sand it with 320 grit and apply your paint or bed liner. i know it is a lot of steps but chrome is a pain in the butt.
