Well I didn't want to spend 40 bucks on the ebay part to fix my clutch. I was putting in a new master/slave cylinder and knew I would have to get a new clip (mine hasn't broke since I owned the truck) and didn't want to spend $10 on the plastic clip. I went to Oreilly's and looked around in the parts drawers until I found what I was looking for. I found two lawnmower ball joints, I used the one I thought was best suited. It cost less than $6 bucks. I cut off the connector rod and tapped it then put in a set screw once I got the length exactly where I wanted it.

I didn't want to spend $40 on a heim joint and a bolt from ebay loved that this whole setup cost less than the plastic clip.
