hey guys I have been looking into air filters and didn't know if anyone know of a good cheap one or a cheap way to do it like buy the filter and just mount it up to the stock tube or buy a new tube idk any thoughts on this

This is the Donaldson equivalent of the Baldwin 6637 that NAPA sells. It's actually better as it's water resistant and the 6637 isn't. NAPA sells the 6637 at $60+ last time I checked (if you don't have an account there with jobber cost). This seller has them for less than 1/2 that cost.

Not having anything to do with this thread, I saw a picture yesterday of Swamps dynoing their 878hp 7.3 yesterday and this same filter was used on that engine.

My local Caterpillar dealer (Whayne Supply) has them for less than 20 bucks. BUT,......the company I work for gets a considerable discount.

You can do a DIY or get the Tymar it comes complete.
