Got nothing to say. Just tired of seeing "almost burned my leg" every time I go to the main forum page.

how bout pouring two gallons of oil in, checking the dipstick and discovering no oil registering and then realizing you have to put the drain plug back in before you refill it. I blame it on the beer.

Had aguy here at the shop do that once a few years ago, He puts all the oil in and goes to check it to find nothing on the stick. The look on his face when he looked under the car was priceless to say the least. When ever I do a oil change I remember that day and never forget to put the plug back in the pan, LOL.

Kinda makes you smile every time you do an oil change, don't it. My dad always tought me to put the oil on the front drivers seat until you pull it out to pour in the motor. That way you will not start up the motor without oil. He learned that the hard way.

How about a picture of what it looks like when you forget to remove the full 5 gallon bucket from under the truck before backing off the ramps?

Never mind it hurt to much to take a photo.
:pointlaugh:

How about not to stand on the thin britle lid of the full 5 gallon bucket to put oil back into the engine? :badidea:

How about never let your son "help" you find something to use as a funnel when somone misplaced the oil funnel. He found an old jug that had been used for water and held it over the oil fill neck to see if it fit without seeing if it was completely empty of water :(

After watching 1/4 cup of water run in my engine from across the yard I had to flush the valve cover out with a gallon of oil and then drain the pan again :(

right.... but for some reason, something didn't sound right (it was oil draining) and i pulled the dip stick real quick, then looked under the truck  that was a while ago
