changin the oil in the wifes truck

anyone have any tips to changing the oil filter on a 2001 f150 4x4 can't get my filter wrench up in there to loose it up (ITS TO BIG) and no room for the screw driver trick:shrug:

and i consider myself a mec:hehe:

never mind it just took some
afro in gi nerin :lookaround:
to get it out

backed the truck out the garage and before i could even get back in to clean up all of the oil of the floor the :bow:wife had it up ( guess i'd better keeper)

i already bought the filter relocation kit so i wont have that prob again
ive got a pair of the channel lock filter pliers and there was no room to get them in there

Before I got those sockets.....I'd wipe the filter off to get it nice and clean and use a latex glove to get better grip on it to do it by hand.



And yeah, you can't fit anything in there. The filter socket and 3/8" ratchet would barely fit.

Now i dont feel like a dip $hit for posting that i was havin probs getting the damn thing out!
