What parts would I need to buy and where would I buy them to change a NV4500 ou GMC t of a GM over to fit on a dodge? I have a 77 GMC that has a NV4500 in it out of a mid 90s GM and I am going to be dropping in a 12v p-pumped cummins. I think I will need a new input shaft and I know I will need a different bell housing. What else would I need to get it to mount up?

I did it with my truck(94 Chevy). What I did was buy a input shaft & bearing retainer for a Dodge Diesel application. I had the bearing retainer machined to fit the case NV4500 case. I also bought a Dodge bellhousing & clutch fork from ebay. The 2 lower bolts did not line up, so I drilled the case. You might not need to machine the bearing retainer or drill the case for the bellhousing depending on what year trans you have. I have a book here I can look the info up on if you tell me the year the NV4500 was from.
