Ok guys im heading to River City Diesel next month for head studs, ported fuel rails, cfm intake elbow and an airdog. Might be doing the trans also, and they told me a cam is $500 installed since the trans in coming out. My question then is doing a cam on a truck with stock fuel and air really worth doing or is it a waste of $500. They said it does wake the motor up but no dyno numbers to back it. Back in the days of racing I know a cam made huge difference on my turbo and nitrous cars, just dont know what it will do in a mostly stock truck. Any ideas or thoughts?
