Hey guys I just had a stereo done and they knocked one of my rear vents out on the bottom so it was only holding on by the top. I popped it back in but I noticed it’s not tight on the bottom. Like by the time the clip locks the bottom in there is a tiny bit of play, instead of being snug like the top. I’m not sure if that’s normal or not but I was wondering if that could be a problem when it rains. Thanks!

So I noticed the one on the passenger side is a lot tighter than this one.. if I take the broomstick on that one it’s firm if I put the broomstick on the drivers side one it pushes in a bit but it is clipped in because I can’t push it back out.. I’m not sure if it will leak but can I replace it without pulling the bed? If so I’m just going to put a new one on. Thanks!

Hey guys I had to make a new account because I kept making accounts with my Facebook and they would just sign out a few minutes later every time... does anyone know if this vent can be installed with the cab and bed in place? I have a new one I haven’t tried yet.. thanks!

i have never been able to put one in with the bed on.
the 2000 F350 plow truck has not had one in the driver side for 11 years and never gets water in the cab.. i would not worry about it.

i had to remove mine for the stereo install they can not be removed without the bed removed or without cutting them

the function is for cab pressure specially when u close the doors but now with my fan on high i can get a whistle out of my rear sliders since the cab vents are gone lol
