Gonna install studs and a bunch of elite stuff.From every thing I've read it'll be much easier with the cab lifted.If anyone has done this procedure I need some info on how-to TIA.I've searched and searched for some info without much luck.:shrug:

You need to realize what your gonna try to do, not trying to scare you, but its labor intensive. We do them here at the shop quite a bit, we also have a 8000# fork lift with a pair of 12 foot extensions. The cabs are heavy with all the interior in them, You just have to make sure you unhook all the plugs and hoses, brake cable. You can leave the rad. in ,but you take the ring off that goes behing the fan shroud, and the fan it self. Freon has to be sucked out and recharged when you put it back to gether. We run a Pick through the doors sid to side, chain to each end then to a pipe laying across the forks above the cab, lay a 4x4 across the forks near the lift and a chain to the rad. suport. Up up and away, taks a few people looking for any roots missed so you don't screw something up lifting. I've done rangers F150's Explorers and proble something else. The SD cabs are the heaviest by far so be care full .

watch the ground straps they will sneek up on u. there is one on the frame to cab pass. side and one on the firewall to the block.

parking brake cable
steering linkage
brake lines
battery cables
wiring harness's under master cyclinder.

what all did u get from elite?
