Little thread I got going on my other site, not related to our trucks but just goes to show what are Ford tranny's are capable of.

I will be running this same unit with a few upgrades behind the new motor, expect to make over 850 on motor alone and well over 1000 on sauce.

Will go into the 8's with a 10" tire, yeehaww.

gonna try and make it, all the parts are at their respected machine shops, I just need to get it all back in time to get it all done. Should have tranny parts next week.

Jon I have a c-4 I do not think you can tear up it is a pro-formance rollerized unit with a brake .LOL :ford:

Jon I have been hearing about using this what gives?

I am pulling the auto so I can stick a 5 speed in the car ,I do not see me getting to the strip a whole bunch.

I wouldnt use it in a e4/4r, its too thick and the wear properties are not as good as Mercon.

I only need my c4 to get me 100 miles or so, and in the same instant as much bite as possible.

My alum drum and a few other goodies shipped out today, should get started on it next week.

Rated 1000+ HP Roller, chromemoly, billet. you name it it's got it. Drives like a stocker. Matched converter from the same.
1.3 sixty's 10's in the 1/4 all at 6000+ ft
