i just installed a brand new throttle pedal assembly and a cam postion sensor. when i start the truck it takes a few minute to begin working then if i floor the truck from a dead stop it will feel like it is missing and not making much power. no chip or anything in the pcm however it did the miss before i changed everything. i have scanned it with a snap on scanner and had no codes at all. please help

Can the scanner read real-time data? If so, hook it up and run the pedal up and down from idle to wide "open", and see what the TPS% reading is. See if it goes up and down smoothly with your foot, or if it jumps around or doesn't respond at all.

I went through 3 different new pedal assembys from the dealer before I got a good one, they would work for 8-10 miles then revert to idle state. They didn't like taking them back either.
