my truck blows blue smoke when i start it up after its been sitting for a long time. it is straight pipped, is it because i have no cat? shouldn't it be white?

to me blue smoke indacates burning oil

mine does this. My turbo has a leaking seal in it, which is causing the blue smoke on start up.

Blue smoke strongly means that it is coming from the turbo. Take it off check it out, then asses what to do next.
If you need a few write ups on doing that let me konw and I can also post links for turbos

Mine does it if the truck sits during the winter. Try driving the piss out of it for a few days with some hard WOT pulls and see if it dont clean her out. It cured mine. Remember blue is better than white......j/k

What are you talking about dude. I Never posted in that thread. You are the worst smoke culprit here. driving your truck around blowing smoke on a half dead trans just to show people on youtube how your truck smokes with 205s now. stfu.
