Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone could tell me why the air inlet hose (connected to the turbo and intake) would suddenly blow out? It happened while I was towing a small load up a hill. It literally sounded like a gun shot and ripped a big hole right next to the clamp. The truck is an 06 6.0 with low mileage.

It's not so much to do with low mileage as to do with age. If you still have the original boots especially the hot side get a new set of quality boots and clamps. If you still have the plastic tube on the cold side, replace it with a metal tube and quality boots and clamps also. The plastic tube is prone to cracking.
