In the last month my engine seems to have developed a blowby problem. It billows out of the oil fill hole when the cap is off (not puffs which I think indicates a holed piston). There's a lot of light vapors coming out of the exhaust pipe. I have a exhaust CCV system. The engine has always had a good air filter but has seen 185K of "Severe Duty". Any quickie fixes or is it just time for a new engine?:D

Hmm, haven't checked but seem to be alot more after the engine is warm and is definitely not diesel. Anyway, the check's in the mail for a rebuilt short block, just hoping the thing lasts for a couple of months more until the rebuilders mail me a short block. They are slow but sure.:redspotdance:
