new here and to diesels . bought a 2010 f250 with exhaust air intake and sct tuner . my question is its time for winter and after doing some checking it doesnt have a heater . is there a certin block heater to go with and how is the install? Im a chevy gas tech and a mustang owner lol but on a learning curve for these trucks .

The truck does have a block heater, they all do. You may have gotten one built without a cord, but you can get the cord from Ford, or E-bay and put it in. The heater is on the passenger side of the block, just above the starter.

Dealer looked up by vin # and it does'nt have a block heater It was a option and cost savings by ford. I looked and can't find one installed.

It's hard to see, but I guarantee it's there. The only thing they don't install is the cord if you don't get the heater option.

Yes all 6.4's have block heaters just not the cord.
Yep it's there just no cord, looked for about 2 hours last winter just find out I'm cordless :doh:
