I own a 2004 PSD with the unfortunate 6.0! And im in need of a lil help. I popped Studs, EGR, Oil Cooler, Heads, and Headgaskets. Ive got all the funds saved up just really need to find a "GOOD" Aftermarket long block! Any help really appreciated, im a nooby on this forum BTW

Unless your current bock is toast have it checked out and rebuild it.

Its not toasted just wanted to see what was out there besides rebuilding it!

If there's nothing wrong with it why. There is no best aftermarket rebuild. Some come with studs already built into it. Why spend the 6k when you just do your studs again and be cheaper, not wrong with the bottom end of a 6.0 either.

Well the shop that pulled my motor said it was gonna be 7 grand to fix everything, with 170K on the odo. So why couldnt i put a badass new block bored out and new everything with 0 miles for 3 or 4 grand more?

If its so unfortunate why did you buy it??? 6.0 is a good motor!! Just needs a little tlc.
