Had to get a jump today and now my truck will barely roll over. It went from starting right up, shut it off for 10 minutes (did not leave any lights or electrical systems on), then it would barely roll over. Normally when my battery dies in other vehicles they gradually go bad. Is this normal? And recommendations on what kind of batteries to get?

Wow. My day wasn't too bad compared to that. I'm new to the diesel world iv only worked on old chevy gasers. What batteries are considered solid?

Any of the auto parts stores will test them for free but don't charge them before you take them in...If one is bad it will suck the other one down...If you have one bad one replace them both....When I stopped after the explosion this guy walked out of his house and asked what I was shooting at (it was that loud)
