I wouldn't be surprised if they read these forums, I know if I was them I would. The difference is I would actually be honest about it, post, and take the comments and advice seriously.

Well that's just what I see when I look at their 10 page magazine ads & reviews. oke: I'm sure with all of the "Evil Wasteful Black Smoke" & straight pipes around here they won't show up. Didn't Maddog invite them out to one of his shows but they never showed up?

Thats embarrasing, and IMHO does more to hurt their image than help it. There are a lot of people who refuse to hear anything bad about companies like Banks. They usually are blinded by the pretty fender sticker, which we all know adds 130hp. Unfortunate thing is they have an incredible facility and some really smart people working there. But just like Microsoft they do not use what they have. Instead performance, value, and quality seem to ALWAYS take a back seat to marketing. I would REALLY like to see them step up and be a participant in the diesel performance market, instead of acting like THEY are the diesel performance market. I would love to see a technical discussion between Gale and some of the big brains on here, or even over on the other sites. From what I have heard/read Gale is a VERY smart man. IMHO his ego just gets in the way.

I actually was in contact with an engineer from Banks for a while. They have great deals on their exhaust if you are willing to buy blems/seconds. Almost did but even at the prices they had I have found systems for less. He at one point asked if I wanted to be put on the list to be a tester for new products. I said sure. He gave me a whole sales pitch about how they do the most testing, and how they compare their products with the competition and always come out on top, and how they make sure their products are the best possible quality. I said cool, I would love to hear more. Then he said he would put me on the list for the 7.3L products. I asked if anything new was coming up. He said no, and that really there was nothing at all going on with the 7.3L. He said the only performance diesel on the market was the Dmax, and the 7.3L was really a dead platform. I asked why they had a list, and he said they like to keep a list just in case. They haven't update their 7.3L products in YEARS.


Anyone from Banks, if you are reading this PLEASE post up. If you guys are really as great as you claim, bring it on.

I dont think Gale is the problem. As stated, hes a very smart man. It is their marketing department that needs their @sses kicked for flat out lying day after day, ad after ad. Gale could step in and stop them, but why? Hes filthy rich and getting richer!!! Soooo, tell me again why he would give two sh!ts about what some yayhoos on a forum think about his stuff?:shrug:

Where? here are all his comments. It appears to me that he was trying to be helpful in every one of them,even when there was some ignorant members trying to insult him. Isn't that what you would expect from a salesman?

Actually I read all his posts and IIRC in all but 1 or 2 of them he always ends with something like "pm me and I will get you a deal", or "pm me and I will get your warranty settled". Not much input there.

You really work hard to be negative. If he hadn't made all those PM comments, you would have complained that he never offered to help.
