I've been tossing around the idea of a back up camera for the rear of my fifth wheel, for both backing up, and to see who's tailgating when driving (one more toy).
What's your input on what kind of set up and any links would be appreciated. I'm not looking to break the bank on this one, since I already spent soo much on other mods...

I am going to do that to my hauler, mostly because its so wide and tall I can actually loose full size trucks behind it. Look into a wireless one, much easier to install and use.

I was looking at these two:

1) http://www.campingworld.com/browse/skus/index.cfm?skunum=34302&src=SRQB#reviews

good price and seems to work well for the back of tow vehicles but according to the reviews the wireless range is limited to @ 20' - so for larger fifth wheels this could be a problem.

2) http://visorview.com/VV3_camera_system.html

I like the visor LCD screen, but once again these wireless sytems have a limited range.

Sorry if I wasn't much help but I am also looking for a system under $250. The ones I've looked at that do not have a range restriction are very expensive.

Hopefully someone will have some first hand experience on one of these models.

Thanx for the info OLD NEIGHBOR ;)

I may just have to hard wire an RCA line from the rear to the front of the 5er and do the same on the truck.

Wow, that 2nd system listed looks awesome. And the seller has 100% feedback for almost 2,500 items. Sounds like he's a good seller that you can count on. The first system doesn't look like it comes with the camera.

good find!

Circuit City has some pretty nice ones and various price ranges. Your local stereo shops should have them as well.
