Quick question, just scanned my truck and getting IDM/PCM connection error on the buzz test, cylinder contribution test ran fine. Every other test worked fine and the truck runs fine. Truck is an early 99 with a 2001 PCM.

I finally got the truck to idle normal and ICP was at 477 lbs and duty cycle was at 8.20%......Then I juiced the gas pedal abit and rcky idle came back and idle was a bit choppy and now reading 820 lbs of pressue an 15.2 duty cycle.................I am thinking the ICP is going south.

Uhh, big crescent, or a wrench that fits should do the trick. Especially if your stock fuel bowl is out of the way.

Take the nut off the back carefully. Unplug the solenoid and secure the wire so you don't drop it in the valley (especially important if you have dual pumps).

Slide off the solenoid and carefully set it aside.

Should be able to easily unscrew the valve itself at that point.
