Dodge had 4 inch exhaust, built tranny, ppe, and edge stacked and intake. I know this from talking with him after wards. first we went from a 25 roll he got the jump my truck downshifted into 1st then hit second and my large turbo spooled then it was on like donkey kong :swordfight: he had about 3/4 truck on me when my turbo spooled then I lost traction but still ran past him. I let up at about 60 to let him catch back up:rockwoot: then we went from about 45 I dropped to 2nd and the turbo lit fast and :tree: zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz he was way back there. Talked to him after that in a parking lot and he said that the truck sounds bad a$$ and it really scoots. Said he never saw a 7.3 run like that :ford:. I had fun I think he was a little more shocked than dissapointed. Just though that I would share that with yall.

pretty good. traction sucks though. Went to the track and broke a hub about a week ago so I didn't get any good runs in. In 2wd it just wont do any better than a 3.0 plus 60. give it any rpms off the line and it lights up and spins like it is on ice and you can pedal it all you want but it still spins. then with no rpms it is real doggy off the line then it hits 25 mph and there goes the traction. It hooks better on the street. The best 60 I had came with the chip turned all the way down and it still had issues hooking up and went from 73 and change in the 1/8th to 94.7 in the 1/4. Turned up it was trapping any where from 96 to 98 just checked the slips and it did get a 99 on one run though. On the pluss side though I cut my best light ever .041. In 4wd I think that it will probably trap around 100 cause I wasn't getting traction till way down the track. Its not doing bad though pretty laggy though but I wanted a turbo that would have killer top end and do good when pulling a sled.

thank you kind sir...99 on fuel with no traction is dang good..that means you oculd proly bang 100 to 101..thats good power for fuel only!!! how are the street manners now?
Street manners are not too nice. Big nozzles and a turbo that is lazzy down low makes for some pretty good smoke until the turbo lites. and it pretty much always has a bit of a haze to it even when not in the throttle. Luke, the injectors are Hypermax stage 2 single shots with .012 edm nozzles. Not real sure what the turbo is exactly other than it has a 19cm housing and a 76mm inducer compressor wheel. Its a little slow to respond but once it starts to make boost it just hits and the boost needle stands right up real fast. I think that the turbo is similar to the one you have Luke. It sure looks like it from the outside. Here is a few pics it is hard to tell from the pics that it is a 76, but I measured it with a set of calipers and it was a 76 just like I was told. http://good-times.webshots.com/photo/2104066820101105611SfIpqY

Did you get the turbo through BTS? If so i know exactly the turbo you have, bean told me about it when i was shopping for a turbo. What kind of boost are you making with it? You still running a single hpop?

Yes I did get it from BTS. Just curious do you know what the housings and wheels came from originally. Still got a stock hpop and it is doing supprisingly well for how much I am asking of it. As far as boost goes well boost guage is messed up or I think that the line going to it is bad. But I am guessing probably around mid to high 30's maby how much does yours do. And are our turbos similar at all they kinda look like it.

yes i believe our turbos are the same with the exception yours has a bigger compressor wheel. Ive been thinking of having mine made into the 76 just to help clean up some more smoke.

OK I've been for a ride in the truck and the DK had it turned way down for my old ass and it was still funnnnnnnnnnn. We were running down a country rd and came upon a road runner pounding the pavement. I got a good laugh out of that one. No just get some better tires and get some of the dents and bondo out of the thing and run. Does make a very nice sleeper if I do say so myself. LOL :gun:

Yeah I need to do something about the body on that truck. Im thinking of taking it back to stock height and putting 33's on it with a wider tire if I can find one. But I do like the xterrains in the rear, they hook really good when not on pavement they do awesome as a pulling tire though. Bigr I did get it on the dyno and made 480 and 92x :lame: uncorrected and it was pretty warm when we did the dyno. Corrected was right at 500. I was kinda hopping for higher, although I don't think the turbo got all the way spooled on the dyno. I think that there is another 30 to 40 in it with a few minor tweeks that I am going to do to help it out. I do promise that I will do 500+(fuel only) on a codes with stock oil. It actually does pretty good with the oil. But It does not drop power after 2600 to 2800 like most psd's do the power curve had a mice steady increase all the way up to 3200 where the rev limiter is. I will see if I still have the dyno graph if so I will post it up. With a few minor changes though I should make 500 with out a problem.
