I was thinking of putting on some wheel spacers on the Ford 250 Diesel. Discount tire said they are unsafe due to high impact pot holes etc, could shear the bolts and your tire could fall off??

What are the best spacers to use?

Wheeladapter.com has the most recommended, due to theirs actually being steel instead of aluminum. They're $600+ and you got to call to get em for a srw f250.

The aluminum sets are much cheaper, around $200, but most people don't trust em. Though most of what I've read about failures were on Chinese eBay specials. Not so much from an actual brand, like rough country.

From talking to a few lift shops they said te spacers should be fine if you're not doing serious offroading. Basically driving a pavement queen.
