My frist gear is grinding a it goes in and im still dealing with clutch spacing issues but anyone know where to fine one thats built or to build one im at about 600hp and 1200tq thx

Welll its a matter of what haven't I done ha ha jk but I put a 01 cummins in it and been clutch problems ever sence I went to a dual disk cause of power well still trying to get the right spacing so do u know of any

And iv had it dynoed and with tge old clutch slipping it made 538hp and 1038tq its in this months diesel world at smoking 2011

There was a guy on ebay selling supposedly built zf6's. I don't think anyone tried him though. Pretty sure beans diesel as well as many sled pullers with a lot more power then your truck are running the zf6. Might wanna call some shops and ask. Scynchro's are what usually go bad.

The ZF6s behind the 6.4s are stronger than the earlier ones.

I don't know what makes them stronger, but they have a different designation.

ZF6-650 versus ZF6-750 iirc. Its right in the 08 shop manual.
