My truck came with vaccum over hydraulic brakes,well thats what the sign said in the truck. I have some connections in the bed that has some caps on them. I'm just wondering how good they are.

They are better than electric brakes. Do you have a aux vacuum pump under the hood with a guage in the cab to monitor how much vacuum you have?

Not sure about the pump but I do have a vaccum gauge.

vacuum over hydrallics are a nice upgrade for those who haul a lot of heavy loads with a light duty truck. However, with the technology in modern electric brake controllers and the added expense of converting your truck and trailer to vac over hyd brakes, most people don't consider it.

This is cool. And I also got electric brakes on it as well so I guess I'm pretty much set on hauling.

Dude, I have had those brakes on two different trailers, both of those you could lock down instantly. Try that with electrics and get back with me.
