econ isnt bad very big tourist area so you see alot of trucks pullin campers and ppl going slow as hell lookin at the mountains

If you wanna work your ass off on a commercial boat theres good $$$ when the fish are biting

their are lots of military contracts up their with the missile defense going in. as well as 2 large air force bases and at least to large army post. When I was at eilson their was quite a few jobs. but I would try to go further south if I did it again.
