ok so i noticed my volt gauge is starting to read less than normal tonight, i figure my alt. is on its way out. I'm thinking of running an electric plow setup on my truck sometime soon along with lights and onboard air, therefore im considering going with a higher than stock alternator. Anyone have any good suggestions as to where to get a good alternator from?
Should i go to ford and buy the ambulance package unit and will i need to upgrade my wiring in the process?

I went with Leece-Neville 200 amp single unit it's a T model and bolt right into the stock location, fully rebuildable.

I had my local shop rebuild mine. They did a great job and I know where to go if I have problems.

That and he's my cousin and doesn't charge me for the parts.

I would get the batteries tested first and check all the connections

I sure Like DC Power but get a time estimate for shipment
Yah, I'm on pins and needles waiting for my 300 amp.
