I have a AFE stage 2 air intake on my truck and I'm wanting to do away with the air filter. I'm trying to find a "throw away" filter to replace it with but keep the AFE piping and box. My only problem is i can seem to find a filter with a 5.5 inch inlet. Thanks for you help!

Do y'all let the 6637 filter rub against the bracket that holds the rearward stud for the factory air filter box?

Thanks! I like the clean routing with that blue hard pipe.

I drilled a hole in the bracket I just asked about, the one that is also the mount for the fuse box, and 'mounted' the air temp sensor to it rather than just let it flop around. I had to remove the nuts from inside the fender well to raise it enough to drill the hole.
