Air filter gauge removal from stock airbox

hey guys, I am currently putting in my 6637 air filter and I am not sure how to remove the air filter gauge from the air box.

I don't think that you will need it. Just leave it attached to the old air box & throw it all in the trash as an assembly.
LOL Sell the stock air box brother.

alright, thanks. I just drove the truck and the acceleration was really good and te turbo whistles alot better. Great investment.:D

I pulled really gently and firmly and out it came! i dont remember what size drill i used for the reinstall, sorry no help there!

The problem with the Tymar or open air style of of filter is that even when it looks like the Mississippi River on a real bad day it is still good for a lot more miles.

I just replace mine every couple of years.

hahaha thanks. another question, when i drive my truck in the morning, or when i first start it up, if i hit the throttle when i start to drive it bogs down and then after a few seconds is kicks the boost up and then goes. idk what its doing. is it not warm yet or.....?

idk really, i gues it is. ill stomp it and then the rpms go up and then come back down.

yeah, thats exactly what mine does. but my EBPV is still connected. if i drive her around for a little, it goes away.
