Ya i have a viair 325c 7gallon air tank 125psi pressure switch and air selonid.
every thing you need.

Trust me if those are real train horns they will be louder than hell. Our shop sits right in front of the tracks that run from New York to the west coast. We get around 100 trains a day through here, so you hear them horns all day long.

I have a 200 psi switch on mine but my compressors are ratted to go that high I need to get a regulator for them so I don't have to feed the horns 200 psi but at 200 psi they are LOUD.

I agree they need more psi,but with 125 psi they are damn loud..These horn came straight off a train and went on my dodge.A rebulit horn like this one run about $850 but i would take less for sure.

They are 25''x20 they are big horns,but i had them mounted were the spear tire went.I would really like to hear this horn at 200psi

Mine sounds great at 200psi and I bet yours would even sound better I really like the sound of the those horns.

I think the train engines are running around 150# preasures, I know some one who would know. I had a neighbor who had some old horns off a few crains he ran way back when, I'd hook them up and let have it, them damn things were loud at 90#

I think trains run them at 130-150 but more is better LOL

on our fire trucks all air is regulated to 130-135 psi. but i never know how loud they are cuz im always inside the truck.
