Hey everybody. I just bought my first superduty powerstroke on Monday and I love it. Can't wait to do some customizing. A friend of mine who has an 03 6.0 told me that with any aftermarket exhaust with piping bigger than stock causes low end torque loss. Is this true or is he full of it?

Better check the color of his eyes, I'm betting they are pretty close to brown.

There is drive pressure between the engine and the turbo that far exceeds the exhaust "back pressure" after the turbo, larger exhaust can only help. These engines have no similarities to gas burners in this situation.
