I'm building a kit right now that will allow AC to bestock with twins.... it will be a couple of weeks before its done... just too much to do.

Check out that truck in Diesel Power (on the cover) by Mike Hallas. It has some VERY large chargers and still has AC (from what I can see).

It might have a body lift though.

FWIW, with a body lift you can pretty much fit another engine in there. If you really want to keep everything in the compartment a body lift is an easy fix. Downpipes, up-pipes and all that bs become a non-issue.

I didn't even try, I didn't have AC before I started down the path to compounds, but all I can say is, there sure as hell isn't any extra room in my engine compartment.

mike, wasn't that dyno low though? i thought elmo only made like 600ish on it... which would seem awfully low.

Next issue has all the numbers, so then we don't have to guess. Bigr said it couldn't lite the turbos without spray at the track, so I'd imagine the times are lacking. Seemed to do OK in 4 lo with spray pulling the sled, but he had more traction than anyone else-I have the video somewhere......
