I've searched but didn't come up with anything.

I'm not sure which part needs to be replaced. Could someone tell me what its called, or give me a part number?

The A/C works on the 2, 3 & 4 settings, but doesn't work at all on the 1st setting.

Could it be the... Vacuum motor? Temperature Control Switch? etc...

Thanks.

Where is this resistor? I thought it was vacuum actuated... I had the same problem in mine and it was just the connector on the back.

Don't know where it is on an 02 but mine was behind the kick panel.. Mine went bad and I had switch position 2 and 3 gone.. There was also a problem with the connector going to it getting corroded.. I think it's in the engine bay on the 02.. IDK..

Thanks man, I appreciate it. I started the truck to go to lunch, and low was working... Intermittent problem I guess. Ill try that resister first.

Ill report back if it fixes my problem or not.
I would think that if it all of a sudden it starting working again the plug has corrosion on it.. (bad connection) Look at that before you buy anything..
