Yet another problem on my 08 with 27k mi is the A/C clutch sounds like a cat in a dryer for the first second it engages. Right away this sounds like there's something wrong with the vanes in the pump, but no - it stops as abruptly as it started and everything works fine. A/C is charged and works VERY well and after this first round of noise it stays quiet on restarts and re-engagements. Only after it sits long enough to depressurize (usually overnight) does it do it again. Ideas?

I have so many problems with this truck it's hard to focus on fixing just one thing. I'm trying to go major to minor but things intermingle and seem to bloom into more and more...
